Southport
Edward Dilsaver Ballantine, infant son of Robert Hamilton Ballantine and Elizabeth Baxter Ballantine, died Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
Baby Edward was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Edward Baxter.
Survivors in addition to his parents include three brothers Baxter, Spencer, and Bennett; two sisters Skyler and Lyla; maternal grandmother Diane Baxter of Southport; paternal grandmother Kristan Ballantine of Southport; and paternal grandfather Henry Ballantine of Southport.
No services are planned.
