Mrs. Edith Bax Seifert, 98 of Golfmaster Court, St James, died Friday, October 16, 2009 at Dosher Nursing Center. Mrs. Seifert was born December 13, 1910 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of Charles Bax and Margaret Traphagen Bax.
Mrs. Seifert is survived by her daughter Sandra DeCastro and husband Arthur of St. James; two grandchildren, Keri Stoyer and Diane Nicholson, and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial were held in Brooklyn, New York. Memorials may be made to Dosher Nursing Center, 924 N. Howe St., Southport, NC 28461 or to St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, 205 E Moore St., Southport, NC 28461.
