Betsy along with JC are considered more than great neighbors, they are just like family to both my brothers especially Gary and Ellen. We will miss her but she is in a better place. I know she is with God in Heaven now. JC, you keep positive as I know that is what Betsy would wish.

JC,
There are no words to express how sorry I am for your loss. Betsy was an amazing woman. She brightened up a room when she entered. I cannot explain how much I enjoyed singing in the choir and spending time with her. As the world weeps for the loss of such an inspiring woman, God smiles as another child is welcomed home. My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. God bless.

Dear JC, Kim and Rusty,
I remember you all and your mom, Betsy, so well from our time in Rock Hill when I taught and coached at Northwestern High. JC you were always such a good help to anyone especially my wife’s aunt, Francis Madden. I can still hear Betsy’s joyful, uninhibited laughter. Kim, you inherited your mom’s personality and the ability to make those around you feel welcome.Your mom had a wonderful sense of humor and she was always fun to be around. She used to tell us the funniest stories about Donna’s Aunt Frank (Francis Madden) and Shorty ( Charlotte Hawthorne)who worked with her at the hospital. When our second daughter, Katie was born in the old York General Betsy and Elaine Guyton went way, way out of their way to give extra care to my wife, Donna, little Katie and even to me! I am so sad to learn that Betsy has passed but I KNOW that she is now in the presence of the Lord waiting on her family. Please know that she touched the lives of so very many people with her sweet, king, giving and funny spirit. It was because of folkks like your mom that Rock Hill will always have a special place in our hearts. God Bless you all at this time,
