Dear Ms. Myrvik,
I was so sad to hear of the loss of dear Mr. Myrvik. I enjoyed having him and yourself as my customers at the bank in Oak Island, and missed seeing you after I retired. I am sitting here right now looking at a cute Santa lamp he gave to me after he opened his lamp shop. He was a sweet and gentle man, and I will remember him with great fondness.
Sincerely, Mary Campbell

Having just received my Christmas Letter from Dr. Myrvik and Lou, I was shocked and saddened when I read in our local paper yesterday of his passing. My heart goes out to Mary Lou and I send her and their son and family my heartfelt condolences. Dr. Myrvik was a brilliant scientist/doctor; I knew him many years while he was at Bowman Gray School of Medicine here in Winston-Salem; he was a kind and wonderful friend to my best friend who worked side by side with him for many years, both at Bowman Gray and in Caswell Beach, until her death. I enjoyed knowing him over the years, he was a good person and I know he will be missed by many. Ruby Abbott, Clemmons, NC

Mary Lou, I just learned this morning of Quentin’s death on Dec. 13. As you know, he was my mentor in graduate school at Bowman Gray and a major influence in my life and career.
You too were always a good friend and I always enjoyed my time with you and Quentin.
I’m sorry for his passing and I hope you are adjusting. He lived a full life full of accomplishments.
Always, Vern Moore 715 339 2328, Phillips WI, mooreve@pctcnet.net
