Jane and family, so sorry to hear of Normans passing.
I think back fondly of talking and joking around with him at the sand fiddler and the pier resturants he owned years ago when I lived and worked in the area.

Just reflecting on the Good Ole Days when we were all together. Life was lots easier back then at the Windjammer. I can cook today because Norman Phipps taught me how. Many, many fond memories are engraved upon my heart because of the time spent with you all. Momma Jane, Steve, Phil, Ginny, and Corey. I will always love you all. RIP Norman. Till we meet again—– Merry

Through the many restaurants that I had the pleasure of working for Norman, he was not only my boss but my teacher and mentor in many respects. He didn’t just teach me about controlling food costs and other aspects about working in a restaurant, but life lessons about having a good work ethic and how to treat others, among many other lessons. I will miss him but look forward to the day that instead of serving customers, we’ll be serving our Lord instead.
My love to all of you guys, linda
